Equinox Extranet

This project involved the design and build of a secure Extranet.

Equinox Care are a specialist care organisation providing high standard, community and residential services. Many of their service users are in housing need and have multiple needs. All are vulnerable, excluded, and overlooked by society - their needs are complex, requiring flexible responses.

The Extranet was commissioned to pull together the multiple offices and several hundred staff into using a centralised system for the day to day running of the organisation.

Included in the Extranet is: Email (with webmail), shared calendars, shared contacts, company news, document store, timesheets, cheque requestions, forums, surveys, client data store plus lots more.

This is a superb example of a forward thinking organisation using the Internet to really help in day to day operations.
