Great news to everyone who has a web site.
From April 2010 the government is planning to give anyone free access to postcode data. Although details are still only just starting to come through this ends the monopoly on this data by the Post Office.
What this means to you is that you will no longer require to pay a licence fee every time you query a postcode. So, features which will soon be far more affordable will include...

- Plot distances
