Our relationship with Nippy Normans goes way back, to around the time Webselect was a fledgling outfit getting to grips with the basics of HTML!
Now some 12 years later Nippy Normans are back and the site we have developed for this very successful company is a bit of a work of art! From the outside it looks very much like a regular site but under the skin lies a complex system which ties into the Nippy Normans back end software, M.O.M. (Multichannel Order Manager, previously called Mail Order Manager) from Dydacomp.
We had to completely bespoke write a system which would extract all the product data, prices, stock, images and descriptions (despite these being written in old style HTML) and export them to the new site as often as Nippy Normans choose. Orders have to seemlessly go into M.O.M. and cater for the variable delivery options and VAT treatment depending on where the customer is.
As well as this we have added our own Content Management System to enable full control of the site content.
We look forward to hearing what Nippy Normans customers think to the new site.
