We are delighted to announce that The Design Awards 2010 have chosen Webselect Internet to develop the web site, entry management system and voting facilities.
The Design Awards is an ongoing scheme to promote excellence in design in the home, organised by the publishers of Designer magazine (another Webselect site) and supported by over 30 leading UK suppliers.
Launched in 2003, the Design Awards focused initially on kitchen and bathroom design projects, but has now expanded to celebrate the work of designers working with complete living spaces.
The Product Innovation Awards, which are at the heart of the scheme, celebrate and reward products that demonstrate real innovation, and highlight the vital role of manufacturers in driving innovation in design in the home.
The new web site will link into a completely bespoke back-office system which will reduce the amount of paper the Awards generate by a massive amount. It will also allow for designers to enter online and submit everything from images and videos to blueprints and statements.
